Dr Harriet Fitzgerald has dual appointments as a Research Fellow at Hudson Institute and Monash University. Her research interests involve investigating human endometrial stem/progenitor cells and the role of endometrial cell-cell communication in infertility and endometriosis. Following her PhD, Dr Fitzgerald undertook a postdoctoral research position at the University of Missouri. She was awarded a Lalor Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship, characterising human endometrial epithelial organoids as models of endometrial glands. She was recruited to Hudson Institute and Monash University in 2022 and has been selected as a Hudson Institute Emerging Leader, establishing her pathway to independence as a research leader.
