I am an obstetric gynecologist at the Kremlin Bicètre university hospital (AP-HP, France). The incision of the uterus during a cesarean section can lead to a uterine scar defect which can be responsible of gynecological and obstetrical complications (pain, metrorrhagia, infertility, uterine rupture). The process of uterus healing remains unknown. The aim of my PhD is to study this phenomenon with a double model: a human and an animal model. For the animal model, I work in the laboratory of INRAE (BREED, Jouy en Josas,France) with Dr Chavatte-Palmer and we would like to create a rabbit model of uterus healing.
