Associate Professor
FZEA-USP, Brazil
I graduated in Veterinary Medicine at UNESP Jaboticabal-Brazil, have master’s degree in Animal Genetic Improvement from UNESP Jaboticabal-Brazil and a PhD in Animal Reproduction from USP-Brazil. My research is focused on studying mechanisms regulating oocyte maturation and developmental competence. More recently, the role of extracellular vesicles (EVs) in fluids from components of the female reproductive tract (ovarian follicle, oviduct and uterus), and their impact on oocyte maturation and embryo development, has been a topic in our studies, considering mRNAs and miRNAs contents and their relation with lipid metabolism and epigenetic regulation in oocytes and embryos in the bovine species.
