Giulia is a PhD student in the Aye Lab at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Her PhD thesis project aims to examine the epigenetic and metabolic networks that govern early trophoblast differentiation and development, using stem cells and organoids as models. Giulia began her research journey with a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, followed by a master's degree in Medical Biotechnology. Her previous research explored the role of polyamines in placental function, particularly in relation to pregnancy disorders and fetal sex.
