Dr Amanda de Mestre BVSc(hons) PhD MRCVS is a Professor at Baker Institute for Animal Health and Department of Biomedical Sciences, Cornell University, USA. Her clinical training was at the University of Sydney, Australia and doctoral training at the John Curtin School of Medical Research. She was Faculty at Royal Veterinary College, London, UK until 2022. Her team uses an interdisciplinary and translational science approach focusing on two areas: defining the intolerome of in utero life and the relationship between the embryo and maternal immunity. Mandi was the recipient of the 2015 Society of Reproduction and Fertility New Investigator Award.
