Lais Barbosa Latorraca has an MSc in Pharmacology and Biotechnology from the Biosciences Institute (São Paulo State University, Brazil) and a Veterinary degree from the Federal University of Lavras (Lavras, Brazil) with a scholarship at Colorado State University (USA). Currently, Lais is a PhD candidate at University College Dublin (Ireland) as part of the EUROVA - European Training Network funded by the European Commission under the Marie Skłodowska Curie actions. Her research is focused on epigenetic modifications during bovine oocyte growth and how they can affect fertility outcomes by applying cut-edge techniques, such as single-cell genome and transcriptome sequencing.
