Natalia Respekta-Długosz, PhD Student, Laboratory of Physiology and Toxicology of Reproduction, Institute of Zoology and Biomedical Research, Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences, Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland. Research interests are focused on the field of neuroendocrinology, particularly the impact of adipokines on the function of anterior pituitary cells in female pigs with different metabolic statuses. During the doctoral dissertation, the focus is on analyzing the molecular mechanisms involved in the interactions between omentin and pituitary cells, as well as investigating the potential effects of these interactions on the regulation of the hormonal system.
