Scientific interests focus on the physiology of female reproduction, in particular learning the role of new hormones and neuropeptides in the regulation of ovarian function in the dependence on the energy metabolism. Patrycja in her scientific work study the role of adipokines, adipose tissue hormones in in vitro oocyte maturation and the course of early embryogenesis, mainly in the preimplantation development.
