My name is Md Shawkat Khan, and I am a citizen of Bangladesh. I am an M.S. student (biochemistry) at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. I obtained a B.S. in Animal Husbandry from Bangladesh Agricultural University and then completed a six-month research internship in Poultry Reproduction at Hiroshima University, Japan. My research project for M.S. thesis involves aging-associated metabolomic changes in human spermatozoa. My future plans are to enroll in a Ph.D. program and long-term plans are to pursue a career in academic teaching and research. My research interests are male reproductive physiology and sperm fertility in humans and animals.
