I am Ewa Mlyczyńska, a Ph.D. student in the Laboratory of Physiology and Toxicology of Reproduction at the Institute of Zoology and Biomedical Research of Jagiellonian University under the supervision of Professor Agnieszka Rak. The main subject of my research is the role of metabolic hormones belonging to the group of adipokines and neuropeptides in the regulation of reproductive functions. My research as part of doctoral dissertation concerns the expression and role of visfatin and phoenixin-14 in the porcine corpus luteum. The research I conduct is financed by the National Science Center under two grants: OPUS16 and PRELUDIUM19.
