I am a Professor at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. I have been involved in reproductive research for three decades in India, the United States, and Saudi Arabia. I completed my Ph.D. (1991; India) on water buffalo reproduction. My postdoctoral research with Prof. O. J. Ginther at the University of Wisconsin-Madison involved studies on follicle selection in cattle and horses which showed a critical role of IGF system in follicle dominance. Recently, my research on aging has shown a rich repertoire of proteomic and metabolomic signatures that are differentially altered in human spermatozoa associated with advancing age.
