Pritha Dey, Ph.D., is a post-doctoral fellow with the Reproductive and Developmental Biology Laboratory (RedBioLab) in the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy. She received the H2020 MSCA ITN Scholarship (Grant ID No.: 860960) to pursue her doctoral degree within the EUROVA ITN ETN focusing on developing physiological culture systems to access untapped ovarian reserves for improving reproductive efficiency. This project uses the bovine model to explore pathways determining the fate of primordial follicles in vivo and in vitro via transcriptomic analyses to ameliorate current culture systems and improve female fertility preservation.
