Dr Laetitia Lecante had a master in Toxicology, Environment, Health at Paris Diderot University (France). As a PhD candidate, she explored the effects of analgesics on the human fetal kidneys and ovaries development (Institute for Research in Health, Environment and Work, France). Following a first postodoctoral experience at the National Institute for Scientific Research (Canada) where she studied the effects of xenoestrogens on the rat male germ cells, she is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Aberdeen (UK). Her research focuses on the impact of environmental exposures and endocrine disruption on human fetal development and subsequent human health.
