Katsuhiko Hayashi is a professor at Osaka University, Japan. Hayashi was awarded his PhD in Life Science from Tokyo University of Science in 2004, had worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Azim Surani’s group in the Gurdon Institute, University of Cambridge from 2005 to 2009, became an associate professor in Kyoto University in 2009, got a full professor position in Kyushu University in 2014, and then holds a full professor position in Osaka University. The research interest of the Hayashi’s group is genetic and epigenetic regulation of mammalian oocyte differentiation.
