Binyam Mogessie is an assistant professor of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at Yale University. He received his BSc in biochemistry and cell biology from Jacobs University Bremen and his PhD in cell biology from the University of London. Binyam carried out his postdoctoral research a the MRC-LMB in Cambridge and at the Max Planck Institute in Göttingen. In 2019, Binyam established his laboratory as a Wellcome Trust and Royal Society Sir Henry Dale fellow and HFSP Young Investigator at the University of Bristol, and joined Yale University in July 2022 .
