Motivated by a strong interest in epigenetics and reproductive biology, I did my PhD in Rafael Oliva's lab (Barcelona-Spain) studying the epigenetic information carried by male germ cells' chromatin-associated proteins in human infertile patients, particularly focused on histone acylations, protamine PTMs, and chromatin ultrastructure. Afterward, I joined Julie Cocquet's group to get deeper insights into chromatin dynamics during male germ cell differentiation. I aim to understand how the paternal epi-code is established, its vulnerability to external factors, and its impact beyond fertilization through cutting-edge high-throughput epigenomic and 3D-genomic technologies.
