Dr Thomas Hopkins, Postdoctoral Research Associate, King's College London.
Thomas is a post-doctoral researcher in the laboratory of Dr Kim Jonas at King’s College London. His work focuses on the role of GPCRs in the control of reproduction and ovarian/follicle development. His current project aims to understand the roles and functions of different LHR complexes on downstream LHR function within the mouse ovary, across several tissue types. Moreover, with the additional use of physical disruptors of oligomerisation to gain an understanding of the physiological responses. Previous work of his looked at the mechanical environment of the mouse ovary and the role of extracellular matrix in the aetiology of PCOS.
