I studied veterinary medicine in Madrid, Spain. After graduation, I worked as an equine reproductive veterinarian for several Reproduction Clinics around Europe before starting a specialized internship at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. After completion, I started my residency in Equine Theriogenology at the University of California, Davis, which led me to become a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Animal Biology with a designated emphasis on reproductive biology at UC Davis, studying the effects of abnormal cleavage on chromosomal segregation and pregnancy loss.
