Philippa Saunders is Professor of Reproductive Steroids and co-Director of EXPPECT a multidisciplinary team researching new ways of treating endometriosis at the University of Edinburgh.
She has made significant contributions to our understanding of the impact of sex steroids on reproductive and other systems. The excellence of her research contribution has been recognised by Fellowships of the Academy of Medical Sciences (FMedSci), the Royal Society of Edinburgh (FRSE) and a prestigious Fellowship ad eudeum of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG). She has trained more than 30 PhD students and is a strong advocate for Team Science.
