I completed my undergraduate, master's and doctoral coureses at Tohoku University in Japan, studying sperm motility at Kazuo Inaba's Lab. Then, I have studied mammalian fertilization, especially sperm-egg fusion mechanisms and oocyte activation, using genetically modified mice at Masahito Ikawa's Lab in Osaka University as PsotDoc, assistant, and associate prof. Now, at Gunma University, I'm studing oocyte activation and developmental dynamics using mouse as a model.
