Lea Bejstrup Jensen, PhD Fellow at the Laboratory of Reproductive Biology (LRB) at the University Hospital of Copenhagen, Denmark. I have an MSc in Cell Biology and Physiology from the University of Copenhagen. After my graduation, I worked as an Embryologist at a fertility clinic. Then, I decided to pursue my academic career and start my PhD at LRB. My research project is a collaboration between LRB and Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, NC, USA.
My research project has the title 'Bioengineered ovarian cell constructs for cell-based hormone replacement therapy (cHRT)' as a potential hormone treatment for premenopausal women.
