Dr Stéphane Berneau, Ph.D, is a scientist with research expertise in Reproductive biology. He joined UCLan in 2020 as a lecturer in Physiology and Pharmacology. His main research projects focus on expanding the knowledge about the molecular mechanism of embryo-endometrial adhesion using in-vitro models of Implantation. He also has an interest in reproductive comparative anatomy, gynaecological cancers and the effects of xenobiotics and lifestyles on gametogenesis. Stéphane teaches a range of biological and physiological topics for the BSc and MSc/MRes degrees in the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
