I graduated in Marine Science at the University of Cadiz in 2009. I defended my PhD thesis in May 2016 working at the Institute of Marine Sciences of Andalusia (ICMAN-CSIC). My research is focused on the assessment of biodiversity patterns concerning environmental conditions and bioassays to determine effects of emergent contaminants and other possible climate changes on freshwater key species. Currently, I am working in the cell and molecular biology of reproduction in order to develop new tools to derermine the mechanism involved in "in vitro" capacitation and cryopreservation of spermatozoa.
