Tessa Steenwinkel is a second-year PhD candidate at Baylor College of Medicine with a strong interest in reproductive biology. Tessa completed her Master's in Biological Sciences at Michigan Technological University, where she studied metabolic regulation in diverse fruit fly species. Now she works in the lab of Dr. Stephanie Pangas where she studies ovary development and oocyte health. Tessa is passionate about women's health and hopes to one day contribute to improving women's reproductive health.
