Dr. Mathieu Boilard, biologist, PhD. obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees from Laval University. His research focus was to explain the effects of the oviduct on sperm fertilizing ability and to improve sperm cryopreservation. During his postdoctoral fellowship and following scientist position at l’Alliance Boviteq Inc., he developed new flow cytometry diagnostic methods and fertility preservation technologies for bovine sperm. With his wife, Dr. Lyne Massicotte, a clinical chemist, he co-founded Nasci Biologie Médicale Inc, a medical and research lab aiming to enhance male fertility diagnostics through the development and validation of innovative flow cytometry methods.
