Noemi Monferini is a Ph.D. student at the Reproductive and Developmental Biology Laboratory (ReDBioLab), University of Milan, enrolled in the research program "InfinitEGG" funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research, involving five research institutions. The project focuses on developing robust in vitro culture protocols for early-stage oocyte development, utilizing cutting-edge transcriptome analysis from primordial, primary, and secondary follicles. The project targets greater exploitation of the ovarian reserve, enhancing female fertility preservation and reproductive efficiency, significantly improving ART effectiveness in animal breeding, conservation of resources of high genetic value and biodiversity, and human medicine.
