My name is Dominika Kawka, and I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn, Poland. I am actively engaged in a project aiming to unravel the mechanisms that regulate the programming of reproductive performance across generations. My primary research focus has been on the impact of maternal undernutrition during lactation on the phenotype, oocyte quality, and reproductive performance of female offspring. My scientific interests also encompass the neuroendocrine regulation of reproduction, with a particular focus on kisspeptin neurons in the hypothalamus.
