Dr. Sandoval got her DVM degree from the University of Chile, in her home country. After that, she earned a Ph.D. degree in Physiology of Reproduction at Texas A&M University, USA. Currently, she works as a researcher at INIA Chile, in the extreme south portion of this country, in the middle of Patagonia. Her main research line is maternal adaptation to undernutrition and challenging environments, using the sheep as a research model.
