Maria Plevridi, M.Sc., Ph.D. candidate, is pursuing her doctorate in Oocyte Biology at the University of Milan under the EUROVA European Training Network, funded by the Marie Skłodowska Curie actions. She holds an integrated master's degree from the Department of Biological Applications and Technology at the University of Ioannina, Greece. Her Ph.D. focuses on investigating the role of reactive oxygen species during oogenesis, with a dedication to advancing reproductive biology and assisted reproduction technologies. Previously, she researched cellular plasticity in C. elegans and gained experience in gene editing techniques.
