Cecilia Rocha received her B.S. in Veterinary Medicine from the Santa Catarina Federal University- Brazil in 2017 and her M.S. degree from the University of Sao Paulo-Brazil in 2019. She obtained a PhD from the University of Florida with a major in animal sciences and concentration in reproductive biotechnology. Currently, she is an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Missouri in Mt Vernon-Mo. Her laboratory focus is on understanding the uterine environment of beef cows in the first 3 weeks of gestation, and what drives pregnancy loss in this period.
